Jeffrey Maddox

Director Investment Banking

Jeffrey Maddox is an investment banking director with BMO Capital Markets in Houston, Texas, where he has worked since 2019. Maddox joined the organization as a vice president in 2017. He also joined BMO's SPAC Advisory Practice in May 2021, having previously worked in the energy department. An SPAC is a special purpose acquisition company, and concentrating on SPAC transactions is a specialist specialty within investment banking. Maddox's years of expertise prepared him to serve in this role for BMO.

BMO Capital Markets is well known and appreciated as a leading global supplier of financial services. The corporation was founded in Canada almost 200 years ago and is currently based in Toronto under the supervision of the Bank of Montreal. BMO Capital Markets has offices in a number of key cities in the United States and throughout the world to support its corporate and investment banking services, as well as research and advisory services.

Maddox's skills gained at BMO Capital Markets and in other areas led to his promotion to SPAC Advisory Practice and director. Maddox works with target firms on the sell-side and SPACs on the buy-side in SPAC Advisory. This involves keeping in touch with SPAC management teams and sponsors on a regular basis.

Since 2017, Jeffrey Maddox has been at BMO Capital Markets. He was a vice president for two years before being promoted to director in December 2019, a position he now occupies along with the additional duties of the transition to SPAC Advisory.

Previously, he advanced from an associate to a vice-president position at Barclays Investment Bank. He also worked with Clarkson Capital Markets in the Houston region for two years as an associate. In this position, he was responsible for the marine and energy services investment banking niches. After graduation, I worked as an analyst and associate at GulfStar Group in Houston, mostly offering sell-side investment, and as an audit associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a top business that provides audit, consultancy, and tax services via a worldwide network of companies.
